VR Office Directory Supported Employment Supported Employment is a unique employment service for individuals with the most significant disabilities who require ongoing support services to succeed in competitive employment. VR funds Supported Employment in a variety of business environments for anyone requiring intensive employment supports, including initial placement and stabilization in the workplace. Supported Employment offers continuing assistance from an employment specialist to maintain long-term employment for individuals who have previously been unable to succeed in traditional employment. Crisis Support Counsellor Reports To: August Closing Date: July 13th, Position Summary: The objective of a Crisis Support Counsellor is to ensure that the short term physical and emotional needs of youth are met; to provide crisis counseling to youth and their families through effective assessment, case management and appropriate referrals.
Demonstrate crisis intervention skills, in particular around issues of suicidal ideation, mental health and addictions issues. Actively participate as part of a case management team. Complete effective and accurate screening and assessments of the youth. Liaison with other community services utilizing a collaborative approach to integrated case management.

Each class involves an educational component such as budgeting for food, reading a nutrition label, how to eat a healthy diet, etc. The program has involved professionals in the community such as local chefs and nutrition specialists to come as guest speakers throughout the program.
You th Can Garden A Community Garden Program is catered towards youth who are wanting to develop their skills in a hands-on environment. The garden program is focused on providing youth practical knowledge and experience in the area of food security as well as giving them access to fresh produce throughout the year.

The You th Can Garden program provides hands-on knowledge and experience for youth in the area of food security as well as access to fresh produce throughout the year.
